Do you take a cut of every order?
No. Suppliers pay a flat platform fee plus an SLA-tier subscription. We do not take per-transaction commissions — your unit economics are yours.
What about exclusivity?
Never required. Balsam is a marketplace, not a distributor. Many of our suppliers also sell direct and through other distributors — that's fine.
How does cold-chain reporting work?
We support all major IoT temperature loggers (LogTag, Sensitech, Tive, ELPRO) and have a Bluetooth-only option for warehouses without network on the floor.
Will I see who's buying what?
Yes — every pharmacy ordering from you is a real entity with a name, address, and history. Aggregated demand signals across pharmacies you don't serve are anonymised.
How does settlement work?
You invoice in USD. Pharmacies pay in their local currency at the spot FX rate snapshotted at order time. Balsam settles to your bank in 14 days, net.
Can we have a private channel for select pharmacies?
Yes — preferred-partner pricing, exclusive SKUs, NDA-bound catalogues. Most large suppliers use this for chain-pharmacy contracts.
