Why charge in USD?
Because most pharmaceutical supply chains in MENA are USD-denominated. We price in USD to stay stable against local currency moves, but you can pay in any major MENA currency at the day's FX rate.
Do you take a cut of each sale?
Never. We charge a flat subscription per branch (pharmacies), per physician (clinics), or a tiered platform fee (suppliers). Your transaction economics are yours.
How does the pharmacy free trial work?
30 days, every feature, every role. No card required. After day 30, you decide — convert to paid, ask for an extension, or walk away and export your data.
Is there a discount for small pharmacies?
Yes. Pharmacies with annual revenue below USD 50,000 qualify for our community plan at USD 19 per branch. Just tell us during signup.
What does "custom" mean for suppliers?
We price suppliers on a platform-fee + SLA-tier basis depending on catalog size, geography, and support requirements. Most fall in the USD 800–2,500 / month range.
Can a clinic and a pharmacy share a plan?
If you operate both under the same legal entity, yes — talk to us and we'll structure a combined plan with a discount.
What about NGOs and ministries?
Heavy discounts available — we work with several national health programmes. Email public-health@balsam.health.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel any time inside Balsam. Your service continues to the end of the billing month. We export your data to standard formats whenever you ask.
